Becoming a Child of Many Cultures

One of my favorite reasons to travel and live abroad is to learn about local customs and traditions. Once you have been exposed to new ideas and traditions you can choose what part of each culture you wish to incorporate into your own life. Travel and Leisure Magazine has compiled a list of the ‘World’s Strangest New Year Traditions“, many of which I have participated in! You might also be interested to know how Christmas traditions vary in different parts of the world.

Challenge: I challenge each of you to choose a new holiday tradition and incorporate it into your next celebration.

Who knows, it could be fun!
